TEFL in Spain, Malaga:
Do you want to start an exciting new career as an English language teacher in Spain or around the world? TEFL in Spain provides a full-time 4-week and an 8 week part-time TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate course in Malaga, on the southern coast of Spain. This is an internationally-recognised English teacher training programme which provides you with all the required skills and knowledge to work successfully as an English teacher. We also offer a TEFL certificate course in Granada. Taking our TEFL certificate course provides you with a great possibility to teach English abroad, discover the world and increase your knowledge and experience of other cultures and languages.

Our teacher trainers are friendly, enthusiastic, completely up-to-date, highly qualified and have many years of international teaching and language learning experience. All of our trainers have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in the field of English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics, hold advanced TEFL teaching certifications and have years of international classroom teaching experience, particularly in Spain. Our teachers have on-going professional development and are required to annually update their certifications.

We give you the opportunity to combine your TEFL course with Spanish lessons. We offer Spanish courses in the same school building. As we offer job placement in Spain, after finishing the fulltime TEFL course, it is extremely useful to have at least a basic knowledge of the Spanish language, since it helps you understand the difficulties Spanish learners of English have. We offer language exchange with Spaniards to improve your Spanish. 

Course package options: 2 or 4-week Spanish with a 4 week TEFL course.

The Spanish courses can precede or succeed the TEFL course. The 4 week Spanish course can be split into two 2 week courses before and after the course.

Timetable Spanish lessons: Monday to Friday from 10 to 13 with breaks.

Pablo Ruiz Picasso Málaga International Airport is one of the busiest airports in Spain, with regular flights to and from most international airports. The airport serves much of Andalusia and especially the ever popular area all along the Costa del Sol.

In the final week of your course you´ll have a specialised input session about teaching in Spain. In this lesson you will get all information and tips about finding employment in your preferred area. In addition, you will learn how to write a TEFL CV and to conduct job interviews efficiently. Upon completion of the course we will provide you with a letter of recommendation and a list of all language schools in Malaga province. We collaborate with local language schools and help you find a job by putting you in contact with them.
