The Children's House Lake Meadows provides distinct and proven Early Education Experience Programs for children of 6 weeks through 12 years of age. The Children's House is privately owned, and currently operates 4 facilities in the State of Illinois, in Chicago City, Park Forest and Markham. We are fully licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. We employ only qualified teachers and teachers aides, and keep our class sizes small to provide your child with a comfortable environment that is conductive to learning.

Children's House Early Education Experience:
At the Children's House, our educational goals ensure that children learn in an atmosphere where growth, exploration and discovery are possible. Our curriculum is developmentally appropriate and teacher initiated. It is a distinct and proven experience for children ages 6 weeks through to 12 years. The curriculum allows for children's individuality, independence and decision making skills to be enhanced.
Monthly themes are included in the curriculum, as well as corresponding weekly units. Additionally, the children will learn of various cultures and customs throughout the U.S. and abroad.Our children are very busy through out the day. Each day, they participate in planning time, activity time, circle time, small-group time, outside time, clean-up time and reflective time.
Staff:
Our staff are trained to accept your child's curiosity as his or her own greatest resource for learning. In addition, our philosophy provides for the recognition of inappropriate behavior and the ability for all students to "self-correct" as opposed to the traditional time-out or redirection process.
It is our goal to offer an exceptionally well rounded educational program that provides your child with opportunities to achieve socially, intellectually, physically, psychologically, as well as emotionally. While we can never replace parents / guardians, it is our philosophy to provide an environment that is exemplary of "The Children's House Away From Home."

Elmhurst Academy of Early Learning is located in Elmhurst in DuPage County, Illinois, approximately 17 miles west of downtown Chicago. We provide professional child care services for ages 3 months through to first grade. Child's Play Touring Theatre

Child's Play Touring Theatre, based in Chicago, Illinois, is a private touring theatre company offering workshops, residencies, after school programs, and summer camps across the USA. Child's Play Touring Theatre travels all over the country performing stories and poems written by children. Our mission is to share, encourage and validate the creativity of children by performing original works of theatre, music, and dance adapted from literature written by young authors. Through performances, workshops and intensive residencies, Child's Play is a touring company that has reached an audience of over 4.2 million children, teachers and parents in 38 states. We see arts as an educational tool with lifelong benefits and teach not only in the schools, but at our studio and our summer camps. Child's Play Touring Theatre is a not-for-profit organization.

St. Bernadette Catholic Elementary School (Pre-K-8), located in Rockford in Winnebago County in northern Illinois, is an extension of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
