The Children's House Lake Meadows provides distinct and proven Early Education Experience Programs for children of 6 weeks through 12 years of age. The Children's House is privately owned, and currently operates 4 facilities in the State of Illinois, in Chicago City, Park Forest and Markham. We are fully licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. We employ only qualified teachers and teachers aides, and keep our class sizes small to provide your child with a comfortable environment that is conductive to learning.

Children's House Early Education Experience:
At the Children's House, our educational goals ensure that children learn in an atmosphere where growth, exploration and discovery are possible. Our curriculum is developmentally appropriate and teacher initiated. It is a distinct and proven experience for children ages 6 weeks through to 12 years. The curriculum allows for children's individuality, independence and decision making skills to be enhanced.
Monthly themes are included in the curriculum, as well as corresponding weekly units. Additionally, the children will learn of various cultures and customs throughout the U.S. and abroad.Our children are very busy through out the day. Each day, they participate in planning time, activity time, circle time, small-group time, outside time, clean-up time and reflective time.
Staff:
Our staff are trained to accept your child's curiosity as his or her own greatest resource for learning. In addition, our philosophy provides for the recognition of inappropriate behavior and the ability for all students to "self-correct" as opposed to the traditional time-out or redirection process.
It is our goal to offer an exceptionally well rounded educational program that provides your child with opportunities to achieve socially, intellectually, physically, psychologically, as well as emotionally. While we can never replace parents / guardians, it is our philosophy to provide an environment that is exemplary of "The Children's House Away From Home."

Holy Angels Catholic School is a private elementary school located in Aurora within Kane, DuPage, Kendall, and Will counties, offering pre-school through to eighth grade education programs. Delphi Academy of Chicago is an independent, co-educational, non-sectarian day school that offers a preschool through to eighth grade program. The campus is located in Lombard, a suburb just 30 miles west of Chicago. Delphi Academy of Chicago is one of several schools in the Delphi Schools Network, a group of independent schools sharing uniquely developed curriculum and teaching methods. The Einstein Academy is a school for academically talented students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through to High School located in Elgin, a suburb approximately 40 miles north-west of Chicago in Kane County in north-eastern Illinois, close to Naperville and Aurora (One block south of I-90 and Route 31 on Davis Road in Elgin). Our accelerated curriculum is taught one year in advance, but our children our encouraged to learn at the level that most challenges their minds. Our founder, Cathryn Ilani, realized an unfulfilled demand for a school that was able to provide an exceptional education for advanced students as well as being well-rounded and affordable. North Park Elementary School (NPES) was founded in 1980 to create an affordable alternative for parents who wanted to provide top quality kindergarten through to eighth grade elementary school education within the City of Chicago in Cook County.
