Grenoble INP - Ense3:Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l'Energie, l'Eau et l'Environnement (Ense3) is an engineering school that is part of the Grenoble Institute of Technology which is ranked among the very best Grandes Ecoles in France. It is located 300 miles from Paris, in the Rhône-Alpes region of Southeastern France.
Email: Contact us below ( or request a callback ).Ense3 offers a range of master degree programs in the fields of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, civil and environmental engineering. We combine technical and scientific skills in the domains of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, civil and environmental engineering to be able to handle the full energy chain (production, distribution, usages, trading) as well as the full water cycle (harnessing, storage, supply, treatment).
Three of our master's programs are taught in English. Each programme offers the opportunity to pursue with a PhD. Ense3 welcomes approximately 100 international students each year.
Master's Degree Programs Taught in English:
-
Master in Fluid Mechanics and Energetics (1 year):
The Master degree in Fluid Mechanics and Energetics englobes an advanced academic program in fluid mechanics and applications in:
•Energy (turbo-machinery, nuclear energy, oil industry)
•Sustainable energy (wind or solar energy) and development involving hydraulics (rivers, off-shore and marine science),
•Transport phenomena and combustion in aerodynamics or space sciences,
•Chemical engineering and transport phenomena in many areas: microfluidics with bio-assays, biotechnologies, MEMS or actuators; metallurgy; petroleum, oil & gas industry.
-
Master in Hydraulic Engineering (2 years):
The fresh water resources of our planet must be managed more efficiently each day and in a sustainable way. This programme aims at training specialists in both the public and private sectors capable of adressing today's and future issues and needs in hydraulic and civil engineering, hydraulic works and infrastructures, hydrology, and water resources management.
-
Master in Electrical Engineering for Smart grids and buildings (20 months):
Grids and buildings, a major concern for our societies, experience profound technological changes converging both through the smart grid where the buildings are an essential link via active consumers. The Smart Buildings and Grids master proposes a 20 month full time technical high level training, which takes into account economic, societal and cultural aspects, to prepare students for the challenges of tomorrow, managing the total energy chain (production, distribution, use). This Master relies on the outstanding scientific and technological environment of Grenoble in the field of energy.
