Branksome Hall, Toronto:
Located in the heart of Toronto, Ontario, Branksome Hall is a leading independent day and boarding school for girls from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12, with a Residence Program for students in Grades 8-12. Established in 1903, we are an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, and our curriculum also meets and exceeds the requirements of the Province of Ontario. Graduates receive both the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, and the IB Diploma.
Branksome Hall is a fully authorized IB World School. Branksome is unique as an Ontario girls' school with all students, from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12, taking IB programs.
International Baccalaureate Organization:
The IBO was established in 1968 in Geneva, Switzerland, by an international association of educators who sought to create a comprehensive curriculum with consistent assessment standards adaptable to any country. Its goal was to develop truly global citizens capable of succeeding in university programs around the world. The roster of IB World Schools has grown to over 3,000 institutions in 140 countries.

Branksome Hall is situated on 13 acres of prime ravine property located in downtown Toronto, in Rosedale, within a ten-minute walk of Yonge and Bloor Streets.
The century-old traditions of Branksome Hall include a safe, secure and caring residence environment. The residence communal living experience provides a home away from home for our 65 residence students.
We have three residences: Ainslie House, MacNeill House and Sherborne House, all equipped with:
- Mainly double bedrooms with roommates assigned based on age, grade and interests
- A communal lounge area with cable television and comfortable couches
- Music area with piano
- Computer workroom with desktop computers and full access to Internet, e-mail, Branksome’s Intranet and many software programs.
- Kitchen for preparing snacks
- Laundry facilities
