Our teachers and highly qualified and experienced and we have a maximum of 8 students per class which allows us to give each of our students all the attention and the support they need to make the most of their stay in Ireland.

Our English for Business and Professional Use courses are available as full-time group courses (20 or 30 lessons per week) plus private lessons (10, 15 or 20 per week).

Some specialist subjects are available and classes can be tailor-made according to your individual needs.

The Language Centre at University College Cork offers intensive courses and part time courses in ELT during the academic year, and also has a Summer School from July to mid-September. The courses are open to both students of UCC, and those who wish to take one of the many courses available at the centre. The English language courses are offered in English for general, academic, and professional purposes. Each year hundreds of students prepare for and take the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination, or also the Cambridge First Certificate (FCE), Advanced (CAE), or Proficiency (CPE) examinations in our centre.
