ELS Language Centers, located two blocks from the downtown district of Seattle, WA, is a language school providing a unique American experience and Intensive English immersion programs of the highest caliber. Homestay Accommodation:
All ELS Centers offer homestay accommodations with an English-speaking host family. ELS host families are carefully screened to ensure they provide a pleasant and safe “home away from home” for our students. Living with a host family can help you learn English faster while experiencing American customs and culture firsthand. Students often develop very close relationships with their hosts — friendships that can last a lifetime. Students have their own room and are responsible for their personal transportation.
Activities:
ELS plans a wide range of activities for students, from sightseeing to visits to local attractions, center parties, and more. ELS/Seatlle students have access to numerous historical sites, downtown shopping, museums, outdoor recreation, and excellent nightlife and entertainment.
Facility Use:
ELS students enjoy free access to the downtown Seattle YMCA. This 5-story recreational facility includes an indoor swimming pool, track and both basketball and racquetball courts. Also included in the free membership is unlimited use of all fitness equipment and group classes such as yoga, cycling and aerobics.

This location is also surrounded by unique boutiques, quirky coffee shops and neighborhood cafes. ELS is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market, Pacific Place Shopping Center and the Broadway district.
