Photography Summer Course:
 Duration: 3 weeks
 Credits: 6 Ects
 Eligibility Requirements: High school graduate, equivalent, or above

This course provides students the knowledge of Florentine Culture & Art and photographic techniques. The main aim is to develop a personal photo book of shapes, techniques, and concepts.

Students are encouraged to pursue their own personal interests and passions exploring and observing Florence through the lens of locals.

Students record, describe, and interpret a building of historical value, with the professor’s approval.


Interior Design Summer Course:
 Duration: 3 weeks
 Credits: 4.5 Ects
 Eligibility Requirements: High school graduate, equivalent, or above

This program feature both theory and practical lessons to learn the basics of the Interior Design profession.

This course is for students who need to practice Interior Design working on the luxury atmospheres of Florence, such as houses, apartments and historical buildings.


Visual Arts – Drawing & Painting Summer Course:
 Duration: 3 weeks
 Credits: 4.5 Ects
 Eligibility Requirements: High school graduate, equivalent, or above

This course helps students to gain competences of painting with the stunning view of Florence city center in the background. Techniques are based on painting materials including: acrylic, oil, watercolor. 

The contents prepare students for future painting profession practicing in class and “en plain air” - the artistic places of Florence.

By visiting Florentine museums and city spaces, the student gets an overview of arts & landscape painting, with a focus on perspective.

Messors Workshops - Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration in Italy
Courses / Programs
Messors Workshops offers 15-day summer Art Conservation Workshops on Fresco and Canvas, based in the rich cultural and historical setting of Altamura, Gravina in Puglia and Matera, in Southern Italy.  We are 27 miles southwest of Bari (airport BRI).

The Frescoes are part of the rupestrian settlements (underground habitations) located in the Alta Murgia area in the Puglia region of Italy. Private collections provide canvases.

Under tutelage of program director Tonio Creanza participants are introduced to principles and methodology for the conservation of frescoes and paintings on canvas, experiencing the process of restoration as it unfolds.

Participants will also review the completed and restored works of past projects: 17th-century wood statues, decorative paintings and stone reliefs, exterior and interior frescoes, and paintings in both private collections.

Eyes on Italy, Rome

Immerse yourself in the Italian language and culture this summer! Located in the historic city of Rome, Eyes on Italy is an Italian Language & Culture Summer School that provides an immersion program for foreign university students and young professionals who want to learn Italian Language and culture. Each program has a duration of two weeks.

We offer an integrated course that brings together Italian language learning and culture discovery in order to give its students a deep vision of “Italianity” and the sense of belonging to the “Bel Paese”. The key point of the characteristics of the program, on which we work side by side with the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, is to fulfill foreign university students’ and young professionals’ needs to learn Italian language with customized programs.

Koiné - Italian Language Summer Courses in Rome
Courses / Programs
Koiné - Italian Language Centre in Rome provides an Italian language summer school on the beach in Rossano, a beautiful town of Calabria, a region in Southern Italy, south of Naples. We provide transfer from Lamezia Terme Airport (also in the Calabria region) to Rossano.

The summer / vacation program includes 2-weeks of intensive Italian classes and visits around the historical centre of the Bizantine Rossano, the Corigliano’s castle and the Sibari’s escavation. During this time, you can enjoy popular local feasts, the typical food, the popular music and local good wine.

Our teaching methods are based on a communicative and humanistic-affective approach to allow our students to learn a foreign language. Students actively practice the four fundamental functions of language: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Our Italian language tutors are DITALS educated at University for Foreigners of Siena and members of APIDIS (Italian Teachers for Foreigners Professional Association) with significant teaching experience. Their work is based on the passion and love for their own language and culture.
