Production offices enable students to have their own mise-en-place. Writing, meetings, editing, research can be conducted by students in these intimate spaces. This is where you find desks with phones, computers and internet access, a library with periodicals, reference books and a large variety of DVD's all available for the students use.
As a part of the Digital Filmmaking Program's curriculum, students work directly under professional filmmakers on feature film produced by the school’s sister company, Fog City Pictures. This is not an internship. It is an apprenticeship during which students are mentored as they work side-by-side with industry professionals in key positions.
Students working on Fog City Pictures feature films become actively involved in the professional filmmaking community, learn critical on-set skills and get a valuable credit for their work on the film.
In the past few years, Fog City Pictures has produced three feature films with a talented array of award-winning actors and filmmakers. Fog City Pictures’ fourth feature, TWO MOTHERS, is currently in pre-production.
