Culinary Tours / Cooking Classes

• Cooking Course:
Class Duration: 4 hours. Maximum of 8 participants. Private cooking courses can be organized with a minimum of 4 people.

In your host's kitchen workshop in the heart of historic Aix en Provence, you will learn traditional Provencal recipes as well as more contemporary ideas with seasonal ingredients. 

A relaxed and friendly atmosphere will put you at your ease and you will be encouraged by the delicious aromas! The fresh ingredients are available at the market which is only 5 minutes walk away.

At the end of the cooking class, you will enjoy sharing the meal together, pairing it with some local wine. You will receive recipes at the end of the course.

• Pastry Class:
Class Duration: 2.5 hours. Maximum of 6 participants. Private pastry course can be organized with a minimum of 3 people.

Learn to prepare 2 to 3 typical French desserts from scratch. When we have finished creating our delicious dessert, we will enjoy tasting it together, along with a cup of tea or coffee. 

Depending on the season, you will learn the techniques required to create famous French desserts such as: Madeleines au citron, traditional vanilla crème brûlée, shortbread with vanilla whipped cream and fresh raspberries, Chocolate Lava cake, seasonal fruit tarts and many more.

Recipes are given to you at the end of the course, so that back home, you can easily be able to recreate these patisseries and impress your family and friends with your new skills and delicious offerings.

Paris American Academy (PAA) is an accredited private institution of higher learning offering bachelor degree, semester abroad and summer programs in Fashion, Fine Arts and Interior Design to students from around the world searching for quality career education in these fields.
