Attending our Italian language courses, you'll be spending a week or more in Montepulciano, so it's essential that you feel at home here. In Italy, home is very important. More than just the place where you sleep, home is where you pass your time - cooking, reading the newspaper while stretched out on the couch or chatting with friends over a delicious meal of pasta. Therefore, we take it as our responsibility to make sure you feel at home by finding you the lodging that best meets your needs.
Homestay Program with a Local Italian Family:
If you'd like to integrate your language studies with a wider social experience, taking a room in a family home is the solution for you. You get the opportunity to completely immerse yourself in the Italian language and culture by living locally with an Italian-speaking family.
Our host families are carefully selected to ensure the highest quality standard is met. They're people who will quite happily interact and converse with their guests (but don't expect them to be Italian teachers!). You can choose a room with either breakfast or half board. If you decide to eat with the family, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy some authentic, Tuscan cuisine.

Scuola Toscana is an Italian language school located in the historical centre of Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy (approximately 3 hours north of Rome). The Centro Machiavelli was founded in 1978, and is located in the historic centre of Florence, just a stone's throw from Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio, in the area of Santo Spirito. This neighbourhood is home to artisans and artists and as it is just off the beaten tourist track, the economic and social characteristics has been left intact. The school is in Piazza Santo Spirito itself, one of the finest squares of the city. With its bars and outdoor cafés, its daily market workshops and restaurants it is a favourite haunt of Florentines and thus provides our students opportunity to meet them. The Centro Machiavelli was founded in order to provide a response to a growing world-wide interest in Italian language and culture. Communication is the basis of our teaching method. One of the principal objectives is to promote interaction between the students and real day to day life in Florence and in Italy, providing linguistics school and cultural tools and creating opportunity for exchange.

We offer year-round Italian immersion programs, and language & culture courses to students from around the world. Camerino has excellent transport links to the cities of Florence, Rome, Bologna, Venice, Naples and Capri and can be reached easily by car, bus or train. Rome and Florence are less than 2 hours away by car.
The Ancona-Falconara international airport is located about 70km from Camerino and offers direct flights to and from many major Italian and European cities including Rome, Milan, London, Munich, Paris, Madrid, Moscow among others. Founded in 2005, L'Italiano Porticando is a family-run and friendly Italian language school in Turin, teaching exclusively the Italian language and culture to foreigners.
