Mandarin Chinese Lessons for Children in London, UK

Chinese Learning Centre:
Chinese Learning Centre, located at Eaton Square, Westminster, Central London, is a children’s Chinese Language School specializing in teaching pure Mandarin Chinese / simplified Chinese! We avoid confusion with Cantonese / Traditional Chinese. We offer programs to children from the age of 3 and above, initially learning with oral speaking, leading to the different levels of Mandarin class by class. The rigorous and friendly management style provides a strong solid platform for both our children, parents and the team.

Pre-school Chinese classes (3-5 year olds):
In a relaxed and fun environment, children steadily acquire Chinese speaking, Chinese reading and Chinese writing skills through various activities. Our goals are to cultivate long lasting interest and motivation in Chinese language and culture. The teachers use Say it, Read it, Chant it, Sing it, Do it, the way of approach to let kids have a fun Chinese learning experience.


Primary Chinese Classes (4-7 year olds):
* Primary Class: is for (but not limited to) children (age 6 and up) who have basic Chinese speaking, Chinese reading and Chinese writing abilities. They will use enhanced learning Materials to move forward to our Junior Chinese classes
* After completing this series, students will approximately write 100 simple Chinese characters, read 500 Chinese characters and develop listening and speaking skills in our Chinese school.

8-15 years old Chinese Classes— Junior L1/L2 class:
Teacher uses a spiral approach that reinforces and builds upon materials from previous Chinese classes, and emphasizes speaking and comprehension. And learn about Chinese cultural similarities and differences, Chinese etiquette and customs. Teacher presents the Chinese vocabulary and structures from each Chinese lesson in context; it is a great way for students to gain practical knowledge of the Chinese language and culture. A variety of carefully developed game types incorporating vivid graphics, dynamic animation and sound effects makes language learning a positive and exciting experience of learning Chinese.
