English Country Schools:Fully accredited by The British Council, English Country Schools organises residential English language summer courses in the UK for children and teenagers ages 7 - 17 from around the world. Our English summer schools are held in well-equipped boarding schools in the countryside in Dorset and Oxfordshire, about two hours from London. With over 20 years experience in successfully running our English summer schools, we combine English language teaching with a balanced programme of sports, social activites and excursions so that young people enjoy fun friendship and learning all day long.

Residential English language summer courses for juniors ages 7 - 17:
Each course combines English language classes with a balanced programme of sports, social activites and excursions. We run separate courses for three different age groups: 7-10, 11-14 and 14-17. This enables us to match levels of care and content to the age, interests and ability of our students.
English Language Classes:
At Port Regis there are 3 x 1 hour English lessons each weekday morning for 7-14 year olds. At Sibford there are 2 x 45-minute English lessons for the 14-17 year olds followed by a 90-minute educational workshop.
Students are placed in English classes according to their age and ability to a maximum of 16 per group. Parents receive weekly online progress reports from their child’s teacher and a more general reports from activity staff and house parents at the end of the course.

St Brelade's College, Jersey

• St Brelade's College is an English language school located on the British island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, approximately 20 miles off the French coast and 80 miles south of England. • We provide a range of year-round and summer English language courses for students aged 10-18 years including intensive, private lessons, holiday programmes or residential programmes. We offer courses for individuals or groups.
• Established in 1978, St Brelade’s College is accredited by the British Council and is a member of English UK. We offer a varying weekly activity programme, visiting places of interest, such as conservation parks and castles, and arranging activities and social evenings.

Located in East Sussex in south-east England, Greenfields Independent Day and Boarding School offers year-round English language opportunities for children ages 11 to 18, including courses that run during the Summer and Easter holidays.
