The language of instruction is English in all locations, but students also have the opportunity to also learn the language of the country they are studying in.

Vienna is the capital of Austria and is an international and vibrant city with a population of almost 2 million people. Vienna was selected as the best place to live in the 2016 Mercer's Annual Quality Living Survey consecutively for several years in a row.
Vienna is situated in the heart of Europe, in the east of Austria, bordering to Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary. The central location means easy access to a wide range of major cities in Europe as well as many historical sites.
There is plenty to do in this historic city, such as museums, theatres, cultural festivals and of course enjoying renowned Viennese coffee in one of the many coffee houses. Vienna is also referred to as Europe’s musical capital and boasts two major operas and the famous Vienna Philharmonics.
Due to Vienna’s splendid infrastructure and public transportation it is easy to get around and get to know the “green” city that is home to many parks, extensive bike trails and excellent water activity opportunities on the Alte Donau.
Vienna is also home to a wide range of multinational headquarters and international organizations, including the United Nations, OSCE and OPEC.
Webster Vienna Private University is located in a 19th century Palais only a 20 minute walk from the city center.
Accommodation at Webster University Vienna
Webster Vienna StudentsAn 80-bed facility that combines all the newest amenities with the charm of vintage Viennese architectural style, Webster’s new dormitory provides students with superior comfort, practical convenience, and an engaging social atmosphere.
Webster Residence Am Augarten is located in Vienna’s second district, a 10-minute walk to the university’s campus at Palais Wenkheim, and a five-minute walk to the famous Prater and Augarten parks. The city center is a mere two subway stations away, although it is also easily reached on foot. Both the Residence Assistant and the Housing Coordinator live on the premises and are available to help students manage and enjoy their dormitory lives as part of the Webster community.
Each room has been completely and beautifully renovated. Rooms are equipped with (per person): a single bed, bedside lamp, desk with lamp, chair, pin board and a closet. In addition each room has a microwave, a refrigerator and an en suite WC with shower/bath tub and sink.
There is free, unlimited wifi Internet throughout the building, and the residence fee includes all utilities as well as weekly room cleaning. A laundry room with card-operated washing machines and dryers is located in the basement, and a storage area is available for bicycles.
Its proximity to the university campus and to the heart of downtown Vienna make Webster Residence Am Augarten convenient for going to and from classes and for exploring all that the city has to offer. It is also surrounded by many cafés and restaurants, both for quick take-out as well as sit-down meals. All other amenities of community living, such as supermarkets, cleaners, clothing shops and doctors’ offices, are also plentiful and nearby.
Webster University is accredited in the United States by the Higher Learning Commission.
The accreditation, which was first awarded in 1925, includes undergraduate and graduate degree programs at all locations worldwide where the Webster University offers its programs.
Since 2001, Webster Vienna has been accredited by The Agency for Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria) as an Austrian Private University.
Webster's Business and Management programs are accredited by ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs).
