AIM - Hotel & Tourism Management School, Paris:
Located in the heart of Paris, Académie Intérnationale de Management (AIM) is an English-speaking hotel & tourism management school dedicated to the education and training of future international hospitality managers. AIM is proud to be the very first Hotel Management School in Continental Europe to introduce and offer accredited and internationally-recognized Bachelor of Science in International Hotel and Tourism Management and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Hotel & Tourism Management degree programs in the field of hotel and tourism management. In addition, we offer professional management certification programs (from 2 days to 2 semesters in length).
AIM's Bachelor and Master of Science degree programs, taught in English, are the first of their kind in France as well as in continental Europe.
AIM's choice of educational program has demonstrated its bold, visionary approach to changing times and future trends.
These US Licensed post-baccalaureate, Anglo-American degree programs, supervised also by the French Ministry of Higher Education, are the equivalent of BS and MS earned in the United States or in the UK. Students, during their studies, participate in professional summer internships in locations throughout the world.
Quality Programs taught through English:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in International Hotel and Tourism Management degree program (3 years)
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Hotel & Tourism Management (2 years)
- Professional Management Certifications (ranging from 2 days to 2 semesters in length) including Academic Management Studies (AMS); Financial Management Workshop; Online Hotel Revenue Management (offered by Cornell University) among others.
The Bachelor's and MBA programs offered by AIM are registered with the French National Ministry of Education. They are among the most prestigious and sought-after degrees in the world.
Ours is the first institution in France conferring these degrees, which are licensed by AHLEI (American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute), the largest non-profit association in the world and uncontested authority in professional hotel management training.
This official recognition, well known at the international level, reflects the high quality of the instruction given at AIM, and allows graduates' easy entry into prestigious, top-level managerial positions worldwide.
Close cooperation between AIM and AHLEI has given rise to a study program relying on highly efficient teaching tools: specialized textbooks, manuals, videotapes, and software, etc., designed particularly for special subject areas.
AIM conducts all of its classes in English due to the fact that it is the dominant language in the world of business and the hospitality/tourism industries.
English must be totally mastered by the students and to facilitate this, AIM offers intensive courses in both written and oral English. Results are measured by means of the TOEFL exam which is administered up to four times throughout the course.
Conducting the classes in English also allows students to benefit from the exceptionally vast quantity of bibliographic materials pertaining to management, all of which are written in English.
Familiarity with the necessary technical vocabulary and terminology is an indispensable asset in the field of international management.
Paris, the City of Lights, immediately immerses our students in a hospitality culture of high quality expectations and performance of excellence.
The city represents an unmatched concentration of refined five-star hotels and palaces such as the Ritz, Plaza Athénée, Four Seasons George V, Meurice, Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, all of which regularly open their doors to our students.
The neighborhood of the International University Center, including verdant Park Montsouris, is one of the best environments for students in Paris. It offers a veritable campus atmosphere, notably thanks to the Rockefeller Foundation's International House which houses a large library, a theater, restaurants, cafés, meeting rooms...all of which are available to our students.
Our students can also benefit from Paris' large research centers – the Pompidou Center, the National Library of France, and the American Library.
