Diploma in Culinary Management:
Course Duration: 6-12 months. After successful completion of 6 months of diploma studies, you qualify for 4-6 months of paid Swiss internship in one of many renowned Swiss dining establishments.
This program aims to introduce you to the world of food production through hands-on core competency training and basic operation techniques. It provides an excellent introduction to the basic cooking methods, kitchen equipment, utensils and machinery, as well as kitchen procedures and recipe costing. You will learn how to use food ingredients and how to prepare basic stocks, soups, sauces and salads. You will also become familiar with kitchen terminology, nutrition and kitchen accounting principles.

Advanced Diploma in Culinary Management:
Course Duration: 6-12 months. After successful completion of 6 months of advanced diploma studies, you qualify for 4-6 months of paid Swiss internship in one of many renowned Swiss dining establishments.
This program builds on your fundamental understanding of the international culinary principles gained at Diploma level. You will explore European and ethnic cuisines by preparing a wide range of recipes, including typical appetizers, vegetarian, fish, main course dishes and pastry and desserts. In addition, you will learn management and communication skills, team work and leadership as well as guest relations.

Based in the heart of Basel, Switzerland, on the French-Swiss border, The World Peace Academy runs a full-time postgraduate Master of Advanced Studies Programme in Peace and Conflict Transformation.
