The University of Geneva's International Organizations MBA (IOMBA) is a unique MBA programme that prepares professionals for careers in the increasingly interconnected fields of international governmental and nongovernmental organizations, and companies that work with these institutions. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, and taught fully in English, the IOMBA is an accredited intensive 13-month programme consisting of a ten-month academic curriculum and a three-month internship or consultancy project within an IO, NGO or a Social Enterprise.

About the IOMBA:
Learning at the IOMBA is highly participatory, flexible, and collaborative. The curriculum is delivered by an international faculty from leading universities around the world, as well as practitioners and officials from leading global institutions. The core academic curriculum consists of 24 modules structured into three complementary sections: Global Context, Business Fundamentals, and International Organization Management. Delivery is through a mix of lectures, case-studies, and field research, and students are encouraged to define and pursue individual interests.

Our Faculty:
The IOMBA faculty is as broad-based and international as the programme itself. Many of the courses are taught by professors from the University of Geneva's Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences and its Business School (HEC), as well as by well-known scholars from leading universities around the world. Reflecting the multi-disciplinary and cross-sectoral nature of the programme, a significant portion of the curriculum is delivered by practitioners from international organizations and by executives from the private sector. These faculty members provide applied knowledge to students and complement classroom learning with insights into their organizations and networks.

Based in the heart of Basel, Switzerland, on the French-Swiss border, The World Peace Academy runs a full-time postgraduate Master of Advanced Studies Programme in Peace and Conflict Transformation. Our institution is dedicated to peace both as a right and a duty. Those who participate in our educational programmes learn to recognize their duty to work for peace so as to promote the right to peace for all. We are a NGO affiliated with the University of Basel, which accredits our programme and issues our diplomas.

Students can begin the programme either in March, June or September each year. The MAS programme is accredited by the University of Basel, which issues the diploma.
