Online Alien Shooter Game - Heavy Weapons

Heavy Weapons is a cool, futuristic, multi-level, space invaders-style shooting game where you play the role of a defensive spaceship pilot, and must blast as many enemies as you can in 60 high-intensity levels. Having been contracted to help in the defense of the vital mining planet moons of Hoy, you must help your company rid the area of alien invaders.

This is a fast-paced, all-action arcade game where you really test and exercise your reaction speed, savvy mouse control, and observation skills as you whizz around the battlefield picking off the swarms of enemy ships.

Strategy to win: Eliminate the required number of enemy ships, collect debris, and use it to purchase more and more ‘heavy weapons’ for future battles. Combining attack and defense is the key to victory in each battle. This is certainly no cake-walk; you must exhibit dogged determination and accurate shooting skills if you want to complete all 60 challenges. Deftly maneuver your spaceship around the battlefield, taking out your enemies with concentrated bursts of accurate fire. Dodge and weave around the game screen – Don’t let the enemy force you into a corner!

How to Play: A Flash-based space alien shooting game for notebook, laptop and desktop PC / Mac (with certain browsers). In each of the 60 progressively-difficult levels, your goal is to eliminate a certain ‘quota’ of alien spacecraft (this number is indicated in the bottom right corner of the play area). Once your quota is filled, you are beamed back on board the mothership, and progress to the next level.

Control your spaceship's movement using the Arrow Keys or the WASD Keys on your computer keyboard. Aim using your computer mouse or touchpad, and Left Click to fire. At the beginning of the game, you only have one missile-firing weapon. However, as you progress, you add more to your arsenal. When you have more than one weapon to choose from, you can select weapons using the Number Keys 1, 2 and 3. You can also toggle through weapons using the Q and E Keys, or the roller on your computer mouse (If you have one).

Eliminated enemies leave behind small blue chunks of debris. Collect this, and use it to purchase bigger and better weapons in between levels. Keep an eye on the blue Health bar above your spaceship. If this falls empty, you must Replay the level.
