French Pastry & Cooking Classes in South West France
Le Gargantua:
Located in Lot-et-Garonne, Aquitaine in the Gascony region, just 1.5 hours north west of Toulouse and 1 hour drive south east of Bordeaux, Le Gargantua provides hands-on cooking classes and patisserie classes taught in English to students from around the world. Courses take place between February and November.
All our cooking holidays are full board, and you will be accommodated in our guest house, Le Gargantua, for the duration of your course.
Surrounded by glorious sunflower fields, our guesthouse is located in the tiny village of Anzex, just a couple of minutes drive from the pine forest of the Landes de Gascogne, and 10 minutes away from the pretty market town of Casteljaloux.
Known as "the Garden of France", the landscape of Lot-et-Garonne is quite unspoilt, with wildlife and nature preserved and thriving agriculture. Enjoying a very pleasant climate, mostly dry and sunny, the surrounding colours are the ones of wheat and sunflower fields, vineyards, and the deep green of the pine forest of the Landes de Gascogne.

• Pauline Fraisse Art & Culture offers year-round and summer drawing and painting classes & workshops in central Paris for adults, tourists, artists, art students, children and families at beginner to advanced levels. • Classes are taught in English or French to students from around the world.
• Mediums include drawing with colored pens & pencil/ ink, sketching with pencil, watercolor painting, acrylic painting, mixed media & oil painting.
• Subjects and themes include traditional French architecture, modern architecture, modern life, real life, still life, motion, imagination.
• My comfortable studio is located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, a chic & refined neighborhood on the Left Bank (South Side) of the River Seine (near the Eiffel Tower, the Invalides, and the famous pedestrian street Rue Cler, and the Pont Alexandre III bridge).
• It is also conveniently close to the metro stations Ecole Militaire and La Tour-Maubourg (Metro Line 8).
• In suitable weather, we continue sketching outdoors (I lend folding stools to the students), either on Rue Cler, or at the Champ de Mars (Eiffel Tower), or at the Invalides.
• It is a good way to explore Paris, discovering places that one wouldn't necessarily have gone to using a guidebook or following regular tours.

Situated in the historic town of Agde on the Mediterranean Coast in the South of France, Gastronomicom International Culinary Academy provides quality culinary arts career training courses to students from around the globe.We offer French Cooking and French Pastry classes taught in English at one star Michelin level, practical work experience placements (internships), and French language courses.
