Greenfields Short & Long-Term EFL College:
Located in East Sussex in south-east England, Greenfields Independent Day and Boarding School provides an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) programme for international students (ages 11-18) who need to improve their spoken and written English in order to be able to study other subjects effectively in English, or who just want to improve their command of the language. English language study options include short-term courses (1-6 weeks), or long term courses (1 term - 1 year). Conveniently located just 30 miles from London and 30 miles from Brighton, we also provide courses that run during the Summer and Easter holidays.

Residential English Language Courses for International Students Ages 11-18:

Image of Year-Round English Courses in UK for Teens / JuniorsGreenfields EFL Curriculum consists primarily of a programme of phonics, and reading along with written and spoken exercises designed to increase a student’s ability to read and speak English on a gradient appropriate to each individual.

- Short-Term Courses: 1 - 6 week options, minimum 16 hours English lessons per week

- Long-Term Courses: 1 term - 1 year, 14 hours English instruction per week

- 1-week Summer Courses: Includes EFL lessons, outings & activities

Our courses provide a well-rounded education in English reading, writing, culture and conversation. Lessons are complemented with outings and many other activities all in the heart of the English countryside yet close to London and the coast and only 20 minutes from London’s Gatwick airport. Cambridge English exams are optional.

Facilities & Excursions:

Our facilities have room for up to 50 boarders, common rooms, kitchen, sports facilities, TV, gaming room, nearby shops, swimming pool, horse riding, cycling etc. Outings include trips to London, Brighton, Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Portsmouth Dockyards and many more. Evenings consist of bowling, sports, cinema, shopping, and games.

After the initial few weeks of only English tuition, some integration into classes begins with Sport and Art. As their comprehension improves, students who are to be integrated into the school learn key words for specific subjects and study Maths and ICT when they are able.

St Brelade's College, Jersey

• St Brelade's College is an English language school located on the British island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, approximately 20 miles off the French coast and 80 miles south of England.

• We provide a range of year-round and summer English language courses for students aged 10-18 years including intensive, private lessons, holiday programmes or residential programmes. We offer courses for individuals or groups.

UK Film School - Residential Summer Filmmaking Course

UK Film School provides a residential, 5-day summer filmmaking course for students aged 12-15 and 16-19 years at Garden House in the historic market town of Stamford, Lincolnshire is a fantastic location conveniently situated in the heart of England and only 1 hour by train from London's King's Cross Station (Our summer base has plenty of interesting locations for filmmaking).

Over the course of a week, students have the opportunity to make a film from start to finish using broadcast quality equipment and under the guidance of film and TV professionals.

Students will experience all aspects of filmmaking - including script development, casting, location scouting, cinematography, sound recording, and more.

Our 1-week Filmmaking summer program includes all activities, boarding and meals.
5-Day. Residential Summer Filmmaking Course:

English Country Schools

English Country Schools organises residential English language summer courses in the UK for children and teenagers ages 7 - 17 from around the world. Our English summer schools are held in well-equipped boarding schools in the countryside in Dorset and Oxfordshire, about two hours from London. All of our courses are accredited by The British Council.

With over 20 years experience in successfully running our English summer schools, we combine English language teaching with a balanced programme of sports, social activites and excursions so that young people enjoy fun friendship and learning all day long.

Children and teenagers learn a lot of English during our professional, accredited summer courses. They have fun, make new international friendships, broaden their horizons and increase their self-confidence. Our students come from over 25 different countries from around the world. We don’t allow groups from any one country. All students eat, sleep and receive lessons in the schools.
