World Learning SIT TESOL Certificate Course intensive (4 weeks, full-time) or extensive (14-15 weeks, part-time)

Developed by a leader in quality international education programs, World Learning’s SIT Graduate Institute (SIT), this intensive, internationally recognized course gives you the perfect balance between the theory of TESOL and the practical skills and confidence you’ll need to be an effective ESL teacher, here in the U.S. or abroad. World Learning SIT Best Practices in TESOL Certificate course (6 weeks, full-time)

The SIT Best Practices in TESOL Certificate course was developed by The World Learning SIT Graduate Institute, an accredited American graduate university, and is an internationally recognized TESOL Certification. This 6-week program is especially designed for aspiring and current English teachers who speak English as a second or foreign language and plan to teach English in their home countries. This very intensive course offers 210 hours of face-to-face instruction which includes teaching practice with a multicultural group of real ESL students. Teaching English to Young Learners Certificate course (2 weeks, part-time)
If you plan to teach children, this add-on course is invaluable. The TEYL course provides a solid foundation in the methodology behind teaching younger learners as well as practical ideas to use in your classroom. The course aims at providing recently certified ESOL teachers or practicing teachers with the necessary skills, confidence and ability to be able to plan lessons for young learners effectively.This course can be taken as an add-on to your TESOL Certificate course or separately. Students must have a TESOL Certificate to apply.

Teaching Business English Certificate course (1 week, full-time)
The Refresher Courses for English Teachers are for practicing teachers and teacher trainers who want to gain additional knowledge, and learn the latest techniques, skills and ideas in communicative language teaching. The course can be combined with intensive English study. This course is for qualified and/or experienced ESL/EFL teachers only. Students must provide proof of teaching qualification or experience to apply.

Refresher Course for English (ESOL) Teachers (2-4 weeks, part-time)
We offer this course in two 2-week sessions for a total of 4 weeks. The Refresher course is suitable for new and experienced practicing teachers of English as a second or foreign language who would like to gain new knowledge and refresh their current knowledge of English Language Teaching methodology through practical workshops and idea sharing with teachers from around the world. This course is quite flexible and each week’s schedule can be tailored to the individual needs of the teachers on the course. The workshops can range in topics from fun activity ideas to the latest communicative methodology used to teach speaking, reading, listening and writing.

TESOL/TEFL Practicum (1 week, full-time)
The Practicum course was created to offer new and experienced teachers the opportunity to hone their teaching skills under the expert guidance of a Rennert New York TESOL Center teacher trainer. This jam-packed course offers teaching practice with real ESL students, lesson feedback from our licensed teacher trainers, lesson observations, and individual and guided lesson planning. This course is the perfect companion to an online TESOL/TEFL Certificate course. Bring your newly gained knowledge of English language teaching into a real classroom. Students must have a TESOL/TEFL certificate or have completed the online portion of a TESOL/TEFL Certificate course to apply.
