Each application for admissions is considered individually with the expectation that students have a satisfactory grade point average and new SAT/ACT score. Because of the mandated University of North Carolina System 18% cap on out-of-state freshmen students, academic achievement and new SAT/ACT scores must be competitive.
The University and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions Office apply the criteria for admissions flexibly to assure that students with unusual qualifications are not rejected in the admissions process. A Step to Gold Ballroom Teacher's College in Raleigh, Wake County in North Carolina offers professional dance instructor training programs. Our ballroom dancing teacher training program is the first vocational dance training of its kind. Our systematic curriculum can transform students with little or no prior dance experience into professional dance instructors.
