Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti:The TESOL program is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2009. One of the oldest Masters programs in the field of TESOL in the US, the program accepts around 30 applicants each year, entering in September or January. Students in the program come from many countries. Applications are accepted in February/March for Fall semester, and September/October for Winter semester. The TEFL Academy of Arizona in downtown Scottsdale offers Arizona's only in-class 120 hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate course. This focused and intensive TEFL course is available either as a full-time course during the week (4 weeks) or part-time at weekends (12 weeks).
