Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is a TESOL English teacher training school in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. 4-week TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate: 
English has become the world’s common language, and throughout the world, non-English speakers are anxious to learn. Many English-speaking workers have attempted to teach English, only to discover that being a native speaker does not in itself make one a good teacher of English.
We offer a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) program: a four-week course designed to prepare English-speaking Christians to "teach to reach" -- teach English cross-culturally to reach the nations for Christ. This TESOL course is offered several times a year.
Our TESOL course includes four weeks of intensive training in basic theories and methods of teaching English, intercultural communication for teachers, classroom management, how to work with different learning styles, testing, principles of language acquisition, as well as the sounds and grammar of English. An integral part of the training is the opportunity to practice teach on campus during the course.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a TESOL certificate and supporting documents from the Institute for the Nations, Lebanon PA. These will become the key for opening opportunities to teach English in many settings, worldwide. • International Language Institute (ILI) offers an 8-week TESOL / TEFL certificate program at our school in Washington DC. • This comprehensive ESL teacher training course has a practical focus and will equip you with the skills you will need to teach English as a Second Language in the United States or abroad.
• The course is offered every 8 weeks, year round. In addition to our TEFL / TESOL certification course, we offer a range of English courses to students from around the world.
