Bsc in Biology:
At Bath Spa University you can study the full breadth of Biology or specialise in specific areas such as human biology, conservation, animal biology and plant biology. Bsc in Development Geography (Foundation Degree):

This two year programme course explores the topical and key global issues of development, with particular focus on developing countries, and sustainability. You will learn about the environmental, social and geopolitical issues and challenges facing the world today. A unique feature of this two-year programme is that you will undertake a work placement in a developing country (for example Ghana, India, Sri Lanka, Peru or Thailand) during your second year, organised by our partner Projects Abroad. You will receive training in methods and techniques used by practitioners, such as participatory involvement and interviewing, and field experience such as project design and working with translators.

Bsc in Diet and Health:
The central theme of this three year programme is the impact of diet, nutrition and lifestyle on health.The Diet and Health degree at Bath Spa University consists of three main themes: human nutrition, health and public health, and food safety and quality. To complete this programme you must be employed or be a volunteer, either full or part-time, within the health and social care sector.

The postgraduate programme in Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA) has developed from a high quality undergraduate programme in ecological assessment at Bath Spa University. It takes advantage of staff professional expertise in impact assessment, research and teaching. The course addresses skill gaps identified by the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management and the British Ecological Society: biological survey; data interpretation; environmental legislation; and professional practice. MSc Health Studies:

A multi-disciplinary postgraduate programme that aims to meet the needs of professionals working or considering work in health and allied fields.
