Online TEFL Certificate Course

Get certified from home to teach English abroad. TEFLOnline is convenient and affordable, and earns you an internationally recognized teaching certificate. Our interactive, self-paced, easy-to-follow program offered online by Bridge-Linguatec allows you to train at your own pace. The take approximately 40 to 120 hours to finish, depending on the course you choose, which is typically completed over the course of six to eight weeks. The TEFLOnline core curriculum consists of 12 modules covering ESL/EFL teaching basics, video tutorials, open-book review quizzes, and written assignments for each module. Additional sections include a glossary of terms, a resource library for teachers, and a guide to getting a job overseas. Upon enrollment in TEFLOnline.com, you will be assigned your own personal tutor who will grade your assignments and help guide you through the course.

The Business English and Young Learners endorsements are 10-part modules consisting of self-study educational material, professionally written essay answers and lesson plans that trainees can compare against their own, and a multiple-choice quiz which determines the final certificate grade. Each endorsement takes around 10 hours to complete.

Washington Academy of Languages (WAL) is located in the vibrant heart of downtown Seattle, and offers an Accredited Graduate Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) through City University of Seattle. Our TESOL Certificate Program has an established reputation for combining practical skills with theory enabling graduates to become confident, creative, and effective instructors.
Since 1979, WAL has been offering classes in English as a Second Language (ESL), World Languages and Teacher Education. Credits are awarded by City University of Seattle, which is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.
