Located opposite Brunei Darussalam High Commission building, Orita Sinclair School of Design & Music is a leading boutique arts school in Singapore that strives to groom industry-ready, bold and imaginative professionals in the pursuit of their ambitions in the design and music industry. We offer diploma programmes and professional development courses in the fields of Design Communication, Interaction Design and Music Production & Audio Engineering to both local students from Singapore & international students from around the world. The language of instruction is English.

At Orita Sinclair, the school focuses on teaching and nurturing the love for design and music, in order to develop a vibrant creative industry and cultural landscape. All Orita Sinclair’s educators are practicing designers or artists; we hire more adjuncts than full-time lecturers by choice. This means that students can learn practical skills and glean authentic insights from relevant field practitioners in the design and music industry.

Diploma Programmes:
The diploma programmes cover a broad range of knowledge and skills in order to develop students with the necessary abilities and attitudes to thrive.

Our students learn together in small classes lectures taught by field practitioners who have their ears to the ground, and hearts eager to impart. The school strives to stay on top of the latest market and industry trends and believe that our curriculum should be current, flexible, constantly evolving and updated.

All programmes have small class sizes and low teacher-to-student ratios (1:12 on average). This leads to an open, discussion-driven learning environment with much room for personal development and learning opportunities, drastically shortening the learning process. 

Intakes are open every quarter, in January, April, July and October, so that students do not have to wait long to kickstart their creative journeys. 

• Diploma in Design Communication:

Course Duration:
Full-time 18 months (12 months with 6 months internship)
Part-time: 18 months (without internship)

Design Communication is a programme that provides an all-rounded design education. Students will learn the fundamental concepts and skills of graphic design and copywriting before studying the intricacies of brand, packaging and layout designs. It is an intensive programme which students will be thoroughly prepared for professional practice and the demands of being an industry practitioner. 

• Diploma in Interaction Design:

Course Duration:
Full-time 12 months
Part-time: 18 months

Interaction Design is a programme that will bring students into the cutting-edge world of interactive digital products, environments, systems, and services.

This programme will immerse students in an experiential learning environment and exciting new fields in interactive digital designs.







• Diploma in Music Production and Audio Engineering:

Course Duration:
Full-time 12 months
Part-time: 24 months

Music Production and Audio Engineering is a programme that arms students with the necessary skills needed to navigate and excel in the music industry holistically. The extensive programme will train students in the art of production across various contemporary genres such as pop and rock music.
