ArtsAbroad is an organization based near Washington, D.C. that provides study abroad summer programs for adults in fields such as music, dance, visual arts, design, theater, and film. Our Flamenco Dance or Guitar + Spanish Language program in Granada, Spain, is aimed at dance and guitar students. Flamenco experience is not necessary. This program includes Daily Flamenco and Spanish language lessons plus attendance at the International Festival of Music & Dance. A weekend trip to Nerja, a nearby beach town is also included.

At Barcelona Photography Courses, we offer a variety of courses & master classes through English that teach you all about the fundamental principles of great photography. Our photography courses take place in Central Barcelona at various locations in the city. Barcelona is situated on the north-east coast of Spain, approximately 500 km east of Madrid and 300 km north of Valencia. Our courses are led by experienced and passionate professionals who are always on hand to support you.Our short courses last approximately 4 hours and focus on the technical and creative aspects of photography. Our balance of theory and practical exercises will ensure you have a solid understanding of how to use your camera and take great photographs, so that when the next unforgettable moment comes along, you will know how to take control and get the most out of it.
Our master classes are perfect to start your photographic skills in areas such as portrait, documentary and nature photography. We focus on the theoretical side and give you some pro tips that will super charge your photography skills. We also build on the theory with a highly practical element and provide individual guidance and coaching.

Metàfora, Barcelona
Courses / Programs
Founded in 1999, Metàfora is an international fine arts school in Barcelona, on the northeast Mediterranean coast of Spain.Our contemporary art education consists of a full-time studio arts course, taught in English, called “The International Workshop". We also provide academic year Art Therapy courses taught in Spanish, as well as summer art courses in English.
Artists and art students come to Metàfora from all over the world, giving our school its distinctive international atmosphere. You can study from 6 weeks to 4 years, depending on your personal goals & ambitions.
The International Workshop comprises 4 levels, each designed for different student groups: Foundation Program in Studio Arts, Certificate in Studio Arts, Diploma in Studio Arts, and Advanced Diploma in Studio Arts. Each level can be undertaken independently.
We also offer short-term art courses, in which students can participate in all scheduled classes & activities on the International Workshop. In addition, we provide an intensive summer course in art therapy, taught in English.
Students get studio space in an old industrial warehouse and are offered total immersion in art and culture in Barcelona though studio visits and taking part in gallery exhibitions.
