Putnam Science Academy
Located in Putnam, Connecticut, Putnam Science Academy is a private boarding school for boys offering a comprehensive college preparatory program focusing on science, mathematics, and technology. PSA is a small structured school delivering a rigorous, innovative educational program. Our school offers small classes and a unique advisor program. Students meet with their faculty advisors daily to address academic or personal issues. PSA recruits the international students all over the world. PSA won the Connecticut Science Olympiad two years in a row (2004-2005, 2005-2006) and represented the state of Connecticut in National Science Olympiads.

Heartlight Ministries
Heartlight is a Christian boarding school for troubled teens aged 13 to 18 in Texas, needing temporary removal from their homes due to teenage behavioral problems. Both boys and
girls are cared for in separate housing units, schooled, counseled and mentored 24/7. The Heartlight campus is located in the beautiful Piney Woods region of East Texas, just 2 hours east of Dallas, on a 100 acre property. The modern log houses deliver a peaceful setting. Each troubled teen is involved in daily therapeutic programs administered by our Christian counselors and staff. Heartlight has a high ratio of staff to residents, nearly a 1:1 ratio with up to 40 staff on campus for just 48 students. Students are under adult supervision at all times and are generally not free to roam the campus nor allowed to enter each other's homes. The average stay for young people at Heartlight is 9 to 12 months. Heartlight is a non-denominational Christian ministry, and is not affiliated with any one church. Heartlight utilizes a Biblical counseling model that brings the message of Jesus Christ to the lives of residents in a non-threatening way.

Darrow School
Darrow is a Co-ed College Preparatory Boarding & Day School, Grades 9-12 in New Lebanon, a town in Columbia County, New York, 24 miles southeast of Albany. Darrow is located on Mount Lebanon in the central Berkshires in New Lebanon. Darrow School is celebrating 75 years as a pioneer in hands-on, active learning, and occupies the site and buildings of an original Shaker village that has been designated a National Historic Landmark. White River Academy
White River Academy is an all boys boarding school for troubled teens, 13 to 17 years old, located in Delta, Utah, which is a small farming community about 2 ½ hours from Salt Lake City. We are a small family oriented campus, and are able to spend more time with each student and make sure their problems do not go un-noticed. We offer a 60 day or a 90 Day Wake up Call Program in which the child participates in a rigorous daily schedule consisting of emotional growth, Positive Peer Culture group sessions, self-esteem building, goal setting and goal review sessions, service projects, daily chores, life skills and independent living such as cooking and cleaning. Students may also participate in Individual Therapy at an additional cost. Accredited Academics are not offered in the short term wake up call programs, but students are in class six days a week so as to sharpen academic skills in many of the basic courses like Math, Science, English, History and more. Our goal is to offer an opportunity where the family as a whole can participate in assisting their loved one to accomplish the goals that have been established within the program.

Provo Canyon School
Since 1971, the Provo Canyon School, North Orem, Utah State, has worked with over 5000 children who are living with behavioral, learning and emotional difficulties. Provo Canyon School is an accredited school as well as a JCAHO approved residential treatment center. Universal Health Services owns and operates the school as a subsidiary. The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS) has endorsed the school. The National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) is also an associate of the school. We have a 242-bed facility with two different campus sites for boys and girls. Provo is the location of the boy's campus; the girl's campus is situated at Orem. We provide services to students who are between the ages of 11 and 17 years of age (7th to 12th graders) with a variety of different clinical needs. The average length of stay for a Provo Canyon School student is 10 months, however this can vary considerably depending on the clinical issues of the student. All of our teachers are special education certified.

We offer comprehensive academic programs with over 140 different academic classes taught within an 8:1 ratio. Our Early Adolescent Program is designed to meet the unique developmental needs of boys ages 12 to 14. Many of these boys are diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. The program is designed to address accompanying emotional, behavioral and academic challenges these boys face.
