Professional Certificate in Clay Sculpting
This programme provides opportunities for students to see how the expression of sculpting is related to digital modeling. Students will study how underlying muscles and bone structures affect the true form of the human body, and using sculpey clay to learn the step-by-step techniques to sculpting a character Marquette. From the creation and preparation of the Marquette’s skeleton structure to the techniques on building up and layering sculpey on armature for both head and full body sculpting, students will graduate with a character Marquette sculpture based on their own original design.

Software Learning Series:

Specialist Certificate in Autodesk 3dsMax:
The 3dsMax software learning series will enable students to gain essential knowledge and be competent with the workings of the software. This course is designed for students without any knowledge in CG applications; students who are looking at software conversion between Maya and 3dsMax will also find this course very suitable. This course is not designed to enable student to create a demo reel at the end. With the objective of mastering the software, the course is designed with assignments to progressively allow beginners to learn and flow into other more complicated aspects of the software. At the end of the course, the student will have a clear understanding of the usage of Autodesk 3dsMax.

Specialist Certificate in Autodesk Maya:
The Maya software learning series will enable students to be up to speed and competent with the usage of the software. Maya is the industry standard for most feature animation and visual effects facilities around the world due to its ease of use and sensible software architecture. This course is designed to allow students to understand progressively the usage of Maya from basic level as well as for students who are looking at a software conversion programme. At the end of the course, students will be able to clearly understand and be competent in the usage of Maya for various possibilities of production, from games to films.

Specialist Certificate in Adobe After Effects:
In this AE software learning series students will be introduced to the important elements of this compositing package. Besides basic film editing, AE can also be used to add various impressive effects to a footage. Students will learn to not just use After Effects in a typical film project for sound and music composition, they will also learn how to use AE to add effects, key out elements within a shot as well as to do basic tracking for a basic guided visual effects project.

Specialist Certificate in Games & Feature Film Digital Sculpting (Zbrush):
The Feature Film Digital Sculpting programme is designed to give students a practical and functional understanding of working with this cutting-edge digital sculpting software in a production pipeline. Zbrush is typically used with other 3D software packages to execute high resolution modeling to be used in either Next Generation Games for PS3, XBOX360 and other high-end PCs games. It is also used extensively in feature films as well, such as the creatures in Lord of The Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, etc. During this course, students will learn very important aspects of interfacing this software with other related applications to achieve high quality and applicable results.

Specialist Certificate in Architectural & Visualisation (3dsMax):
Students will be able to learn new skill sets in understanding the pipeline to create beautiful and realistic architectural visuals, ranging from interior to external architectural designs in 3d. Using proper modeling techniques and texturing used in CG films and environment, students will be able to create their very own models ranging from furniture, outdoor props, and simplified character modeling to big building structures. This course also integrates advance lighting techniques using mental ray: Final Gather and Global Illumination enhancements; this will ensure beautiful renders surface within minutes. On top of these, students will also learn optimization tricks, like using layering to speed up the process of rendering time and composite for the final visual presentation.

This course is tailored for those who wish to design and produce their own websites but have no prior or formal training. Students will be introduced to the mechanics of the world wide web, the infrastructure within and how this virtual world functions.
