Certificate in Game Design & Animation (1.5 months):
This course provides an overview of education in multimedia, software skills and project expertise required in the Games and Animation industry. It is designed to equip students with the basic skills and understanding of Games Design and Animation so as to prepare them for direct intake into the Games Design or Animation Diploma. This is a pre-requisite for the diploma-level courses and is aimed at GCE N Level Students:
1-Year Diploma in Game Design (Full-time & part-time study options available):
This course provides a comprehensive education in multimedia, software skills and project expertise required in the Game industry. It is designed to enable students to excel in Game Design through a strong foundation in the basics of designing, creating and publishing interactive games. By using programming tools and the latest software, students will be able to create market-driven games and consider critical business elements in their games design and development projects.
Students with 3 O Level passes are eligible and welcome on this course. It provides intense coaching including modules on Casual Game Creation, 2D Game Development and Games Design final year project work.
1-Year Advanced Diploma in Game Design (Full-time & part-time study options available):
The Advanced Diploma provides in-depth education in multimedia, software skills and project expertise required in the Game industry. It is designed to prepare a qualified and skilled workforce to meet the challenges of the fast growing gaming industry. By learning intensive skills that is used by the industry, students will be able to create market-driven games, analyse critical business decisions and make significant contribution to the electronic gaming and animation industry.
This course provides intense coaching, including modules in: Multiplayer Game Development; Packaging and Post-production and Advanced Game Design Final Year Project.
1-Year Diploma in Animation (Full-time & part-time study options available):
Animated content is found on television, in feature films, commercials, websites and computer or video games. This diploma programme is designed to stimulate the pre and post production work flow in the Animation industry. Our industry driven modules covers a study of the principles and tools of animation and explore the fundamentals of motion, composition, character design, storyboarding, modeling, lighting, texturing and art direction for a career in the Animation industry. Through classroom teaching and guided mentoring, students will be guided on the use of advanced digital tools and cinematic storytelling skills. Modules include: 2D Flash Animation; 3D Modeling in Maya and project work. The diploma is designed to stimulate pre-production and post-production work.
1-Year Advanced Diploma in Animation (Full-time & part-time study options available):
This course aims to nurture students with a mastery of the skills to be expert animators and video producers. It provides an in-depth education in multimedia, software skills and project expertise required in the Animation industry. By using 2D, 3D and emulative tools and the latest software, students will be able to create high quality movies and consider critical business elements in their video design and development projects. Modules include: Advanced 3D Modeling; Character Rigging; VFX & Particle Simulation and Advanced Animation Final Year Project.
Please Note: Project work is not compulsory for Part Time Students.
