ITTC (International Teaching and Training Centre), Bournemouth:
Located in Bournemouth, on the south coast of England (just two hours from London), ITTC - the International Teaching and Training Centre - is the teacher training division of BEET Language Centre. We provide a wide range of certificate and diploma training courses for English language teachers. Courses include Cambridge CELTA and DELTA specializations, One-Day TEFL Introductory courses, TEFL Refresher classes, and more.

TEFL / TESOL English Language Teacher Training Courses: 

One-Day TEFL Tasters (Introductory Courses):
Qualifying to teach English needs commitment - both in time and money. With no experience of English language teaching it is very difficult to decide whether you make that investment. To try and help you make your decision, ITTC runs a number of TEFL Taster days throughout the year to give you an insight into what will happen on a CELTA course and future career possibilities.

These 1-day courses take you from initial ice-breakers, through classroom management, grammar and lesson planning, to actually teaching a group of our own international students! The day includes lunch and an advice shop. We also suggest ways to help you prepare for the course.

Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults)
The Cambridge Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults Full-Time, 4-Week course is intended for speakers of any language hoping to gain a recognised English Language Teaching qualification.

The course is highly practical in emphasis and will require a lot of hard work and commitment from you. It is designed to:
- Teach you the principles of effective teaching
- Provide a range of practical skills for teaching English to adult learners
- Give you hands-on teaching practice

You will be kept fully informed of your progress and will have the opportunity to discuss your work in detail during your individual tutorials. The CELTA is awarded to those who pass each of the two assessed components of the course:

- Planning and teaching
- Classroom-related written assignments

Cambridge DELTA (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults)
The Cambridge Diploma in English Language Teaching Full and Part-time Course is intended for speakers of any language hoping to further their careers in English Language teaching. The course combines theory and practice and gives candidates an opportunity to complete all three modules in one examination window. It includes work on all areas needed to complete the modules.

The Cambridge In-service Certificate in English Language Teaching (ICELT):
The Cambridge In-service Certificate in English Language Teaching Intended for speakers of any language hoping to further their careers in English Language teaching. Candidates complete six tasks which are internally assessed by the course tutors and externally moderated by Cambridge ESOL.

The Language for Teachers Module seeks to develop professional language and communication skills in English. It provides preparation in the specialised knowledge and use of English that is relevant to an effective classroom practitioner. It will focus on developing flexible, accurate and appropriate writing and speaking skills for communicating clearly with learners, colleagues and other professionals and enable participants to evaluate their language skills for continuing development.

ITTC Certificate in TESOL:
Intended for speakers whose first language is not English hoping to gain some experience in teaching English language learners.
