Cambridge CELTA Certificate Course
Course duration: 4 weeks / 120 hours. Offered year-round.
This full-time course leads to an internationally recognised qualification that allows you to teach English throughout the UK and overseas. It includes six hours of observed teaching practice with English language students.
The CELTA training course is designed for students who wish to start a new career as an English language teacher for adults but have no previous teaching experience.
In addition, it is suitable for those who have some EFL (English as a Foreign Language) experience, but no formal training or qualification, as well as for teachers from other fields who are interested inteaching English in the UK or abroad.
Course Content:
- Teaching practice (TP) and feedback with peers and a tutor (6 hours)
- Input sessions with our team of teacher trainers
- Observation of classes given by experienced teachers (6 hours)
- Practically focused assignments which encourage you to analyse language areas, teaching techniques, learning styles, and educational materials.

StudyCELTA offers the internationally-recognised and accredited Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) and Delta (Diploma in English Language Teaching to Adults) at our partner school in Bournemouth in Dorset on the south-west coast of England. Our courses are open to students from around the world. Bournemouth is approximately 150km from London.
