This is not a weekend or taster course so you will actually be qualified at the end of your course and you will have the necessary skills and confidence to begin teaching English immediately.

It is very difficult in the Summer time to find accommodation in Edinburgh so if you are doing a course at this time of year it's a good idea to book some thing early.
Why choose the Trinity course over the CELTA?
Both Certificates offer a valid teaching qualification but the courses are different. We feel that the main advantage of the Trinity Certificate is that it covers all levels of teaching.
When you are here you will be required to do teaching practice with adults, young children and teenagers with different standards of English.
It is this practical experience at different levels which we feel makes the Trinity Course prepare you for teaching more effectively.

Our staff will do everything they can to look after you and help you while you are doing your course in Edinburgh.

• St Brelade’s College is located on the British island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, approximately 20 miles off the French coast and 80 miles south of England. • We are accredited by the British Council and are a member of English UK, along with being a validated course provider of the Trinity College London Cert. UK-TEFL offers a wide range of short, intensive courses throughout the UK to individuals and groups looking to Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), with the aim of enabling them to teach English to non-native English speakers in the UK and overseas. We offer 3-day TEFL certificate courses which run Mon-Wed in Birmingham, London Manchester & Cambridge, held every two weeks.
