With the TEFL England 30 hour weekday course you will be able to find paid teaching jobs abroad, like countless others before you. TEFL England weekday courses are designed with the first-time teacher in mind. The course includes all the principles of English Language Teaching (ELT) and squeezes them into a fun-packed three days. The course is designed to put you in the shoes of language learners, so you will be participating right from the start - you don't get to sit quietly behind a desk for 3 days.
Course content:
The 3-day courses run from Monday - Wednesday and from 9am - 6pm. Before the course, you have a pre-course task that you can take online. This will take you about 3 hours to complete and will gently warm you up and get you thinking about your course.
As well as covering all the modules, you will also have a chance to put the theory into practice. On each day you will have the chance to deliver your own lesson. For many students on the course, this is the most important part as it really gives you the opportunity to find out what teaching is like and the chance to work on your teaching skills in a supportive learning environment.
Online TEFL Courses:
Our online courses can be taken by themselves or part of an integrated learning package, that is, they can accompany your weekend or 3-day course.
50-hour Online TEFL course:
This is a stand alone course and will get you teaching abroad in your first TEFL position. It provides an opportunity for you to understand the teaching methodology and theory in more depth and in your own time.
