StudyCELTA offers the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) course in Oxford in southern England. Our CELTA courses are available all year round and can be taken full-time (4 weeks). They are available to students from around the world. Oxford is situated approximately 60 miles from London and easily accessible by excellent road and national rail links, including coach services from Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton airports.
The teacher training centre is ideally situated in a magnificent heritage building in leafy North Oxford. The college was established in 1979 and provides a wide range of English language and teacher training courses. Students come from all over the world, in a typical year, over 70 nationalities are represented at the College. The English language courses are accredited by the British Council and the centre is a member of English UK. The centre is also accredited by the ISI (Independent Schools Inspectorate) and is a Highly Trusted Sponsor for UKVI (UK Visas and Immigration).

CELTA is the best known and most widely taken initial 'TESOL / TEFL' qualification of its kind in the world. The aim of our CELTA course is to provide introductory training if you have little or no previous experience of teaching languages. It may also be suitable if you have some experience, but little previous training. Although designed for native speakers of English, it is also open to non-native speakers who have native speaker competence in both spoken and written English.
Each of our trainers is a highly qualified professional and a practising teacher possessing as a minimum degree, an English teaching diploma (Delta) and many years teaching experience. Thanks to the skill and dedication of our team of teacher trainers we have a very high success rate in our training courses.
